For more than 35 years, we have held safety as the highest priority. Our team of dedicated professionals are highly trained, experienced, and will provide all guests with the tools to be aware and comfortable with their surroundings. Purcell’s owner, Rudi Gertsch, was instrumental in establishing the standards of heli-skiing safety in British Columbia, and we proudly meet and exceed those standards still.

The Purcell Mountains, where we have the pleasure of heli-skiing, are part of British Columbia’s famous Interior Ranges, where fresh, fluffy snow just keeps coming. Unlike the Coast Ranges, the snow that falls here is light, dry, and makes for some of the world’s best skiing. Check out our gallery to see for yourself.
We’re convenient.
We are the closest heli-ski operator to Banff, and right on the Trans-Canada highway. We specialize in single-day and flexible multi-day packages, so you have the freedom to fit heli-skiing into your holiday when it suits you best. If you have bad luck and the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can still get some turns instead of being stuck in a remote lodge – our local ski resort, Kicking Horse, is just a few minutes away. We’re also just a short hop from the great ski resorts of Sunshine, Lake Louise, and Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
