The Private
This is the most exclusive heli-ski adventure available! Skiers and snowboarders are treated to an unparalleled backcountry experience and can enjoy the flexibility that comes along with a small-group atmosphere.
A private helicopter will be chartered for you, and can accommodate up to 4 guests. For those who want to ski at their own pace, whether more or less aggressive than our Classic day, we will customize your program, keep you safe, and leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
Private programs may operate out of our day lodge in Golden or directly from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Private guests are flown in an A-Star helicopter.
Make it multi-day by simply multiplying the daily rate by the number of days desired.
A typical day
| 8:30am | Meet time for all guests. |
| 8:30am – 10:00am | Safety orientation, transceiver practice and rental ski setup. |
| 10:00am | Lift-off to heli-ski area. |
| 10:00am – 12:30pm | Ski! |
| 12:30pm | Lunch, eaten in the great outdoors |
| 12:30pm – 3:30pm | More skiing! |
| 3:30pm – 4:30pm | Complete package and extra runs, if desired, and return by helicopter to base. |
| 4:30pm – 5:30pm | Relax by the fire, enjoy an après-ski snack, share photos, stories, and a few laughs. |
