The right gear will make your day.

Skiers

We recommend the use of powder-specific skis that are wider and softer than hard-pack or carving skis. It’s best to go for less sidecut, less camber, wider under foot with a larger front shovel that will help you float through the deeper snow.

We offer several varieties of skis for rent for those in need of powder sticks. Atomic Heli-Daddys and Fischer Big Stix are long-time favourites, and are included complimentary with any package booked. We also carry a selection of Faction skis, our premium rental option, including flat and reverse camber models, from fat to super-fat widths. Our premium powder ski rental is an additional charge of $37.50 per person, per day.

WE DO NOT RENT SKI BOOTS, so make sure you arrive prepared with the first element in your setup.

Snowboarders

We do not carry snowboard equipment for rent, so riders will need to arrive with all gear in hand. Our guides can help adjust your bindings, if needed, for the best powder-riding stance.

In general, snowboards should be at the large end for your height and weight, to ensure adequate flotation in the deeper snow.

Need to rent? Check out Wilson’s Mountain Sports in Lake Louise or Selkirk Sports at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

Telemarkers

We do not carry telemarking equipment for rent, so tele skiers will need to arrive with all gear ready to go. If you have the older cable-style bindings, we recommend bringing a tool kit with you and an extra cable. Being prepared for a quick repair will make sure your day doesn’t get cut short.
