The Classic
Definitely the most popular choice. From first-timers to seasoned heli-skiers, the Classic day combines unforgettable adventure and superior value, making it a great choice all around. We create a welcoming environment for you to feel comfortable and enjoy everything that heli-skiing has to offer – untouched terrain, incredible snow, and breathtaking views.
Interested in multiple days? Multi-day packages can be consecutive or with break days built in - whatever suits your holiday schedule. Simply pick your dates, three or five runs, and then multiply the daily rate to get your total.
At a minimum for the 3 run program, skiers and snowboarders need to be confident on intermediate and some advanced terrain. Unsure what’s best for you? Check out our ability page for more details and our helpful rating guide.
All Classic programs operate out of our day lodge in Golden and fly in a Bell 205 helicopter.
A typical day
| 8:30am | Meet time for all guests. |
| 8:30am – 10:00am | Safety orientation, transceiver practice and rental ski setup. |
| 10:00am | Lift-off of first group to heli-ski area. |
| 10:00am – 12:30pm | Ski! |
| 12:30pm | Lunch, eaten in the great outdoors |
| 12:30pm – 3:30pm | More skiing! |
| 3:30pm – 4:30pm | Complete package and extra runs, if desired, and return by helicopter to base. |
| 4:30pm – 5:30pm | Relax by the fire, enjoy an après-ski snack, share photos, stories, and a few laughs. |
